Chris Claremont has said that he's not allowed to make new X-Men characters because the rights would go to Fox (Rob Liefeld said something similar). Why would Jason Aaron and Bendis allowed to introducea a bunch of new characters when the greatest X-Writer ever isn't? I'm inclined to believe Claremont, but I notice the contradiction, so I'll let you explain things before jumping to conclusions like some people.
If we didn’t want to introduce new characters in X-Men titles, why would we have done a whole crossover event the outcome of which was to have new mutants appearing around the globe?
Think. McFly, Think!
Fox Studios is going to rolling in that Gold Balls money, suckers!!!
